Stray dog menace at its worst?
At a season when cribs are built on display and at a time when cold winds have dropped the temperature, something frustrating for all is the stray dogs menace and how these dogs are damaging nicely done, public cribs in which these dogs force themselves to take shelter and destroy hard work and community effort. But the municipality feigns ignorance one solution of stray dog menace in Margao.
ATM scares in town?
Navelim, Margao and Fatorda has had a few stray incidents this Christmas-New Year season with money withdrawn from ATMs without people’s knowledge or ATMs replicated and net banking transactions being carried out. People in Margao are wary to use their ATM and irked that few nationalised banks are not taking any heed on this fraud.
Late night music
Not wanting to be party poopers many residents in Fatorda and Aquem are angry with the late night music which is relaxed till 11 pm but sometimes plays on till 3 am at random parties that are often funded by politicians at various wards or sometimes at some community crib junction. The police inaction against loud music at night is upsetting many residents.
Parking woes at Fatorda?
Fatorda residents are upset with how the road works are incomplete at Fatorda and how on mass days like Midnight of Dec 24th and upcoming Dec 31 midnight mass days besides FC Goa match days it’s becoming a huge problem to find parking along the road especially near chapels and churches and the PWD and also the traffic cell is doing nothing to sort this mess and seems to be leaving to hamper the Christmas cheer.
