MARGAO: The Holy Spirit boys on Sunday cleaned the Monte area in Margao which was littered with garbage including plastic bottles, bags and other waste. The initiative taken after Khabir Moraes, a social activist from Cuncolim had highlighted the garbage littered in Monte.
Holy Spirit boys cleaned the area from Monte till the beautified steps. The Holy Spirit boys have requested the people to keep the area clean. They have requested Fatorda Police Inspector Kapil Nayak to maintain vigil if anyone is found consuming alcohol here.
They collected over 15 bags of waste comprising plastic and glass bottles.
