PORVORIM: Former Ponda MLA Lavoo Mamledar complained to the Porvorim Police that a masked driver in a four wheeler tried to run the vehicle over him while he was on a morning walk at Pundalik Nagar, Porvorim, on Sunday.
The incident occurred near his house when a white car without a number plate tried to run over him but he managed to move towards safety. Porvorim
PI informed that they are investigating this case and the accused person is not yet identified. Mamledar in his complaint suspected the alleged involvement of the Dhavlikar brothers, supporters and contractors.
Porvorim police have registered a case against unknown person under the IPC Sections 338 &279.
