In the Benaulim robbery case that occurred on Saturday, where Rs 3.2 lakh was robbed, police were given information that the robbery was executed at 2 o’clock in the night by an elderly person wearing a black jacket and a monkey cap. The case has raised demands among the coastal belt residents for the police to step up the investigations and nab the culprits or engage with the public at the earliest on how to be prepared for the masked burglar who seems to be targeting residential and commercial establishments in the wee hours of the morning.
