Vasco: A massive thermal screening drive was carried out in ward 21, New Vaddem area by Mormugao Municipal Councillor Yatin Kamurlkar on Thursday. Two persons, a teenage girl and her father, were identified with fever symptoms.
Kamurlkar added that they will be sent to Chicalim hospital for a medical checkup and until which period, they will be asked not to move out of their house. The councillor thanked Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida for arranging seven thermal guns for the screening of almost 1,000 residents.
