VALPOI: Against the backdrop of the closure of the Anmod Ghat passage on the Goa-Belgaum route for vehicular traffic since the last few months, the number of vehicles in Kerim has increased dramatically.
On Monday, a cargo vehicle fell on the side of the road causing a massive traffic jam in Kerim, which lasted over four hours with vehicles queuing up on either side of the road in large numbers.
According to sources, traffic between Goa and Belgaum has been diverted via Chorla due to the closure of the Anmod Ghat.
