CANACONA: Canacona police raided and seized a matka slip book and cash from a matka agent operating at Kolomb in Canacona. According to Canacona police, they raided a matka agent operating at Kolomb a village within the municipal limits of Canacona and seized a matka slip book and cash of Rs 400 from his possession. A person by name Shekar Komarpant was arrested in these connection under section 3, 4 & 11(2) (a) of Public Gambling Act. Police said that he was later released on bail.
