BICHOLIM: A self help group from Mayem under National Rural Livelihood Mission has urged the State government to wave off their loans due to financial crunch created due to the lockdown on account of Covid-19 pandemic.
Addressing a press conference at Bicholim, president of Sri Taleshwar self help group Mayem Kajal Karbotkar said at present the members of all self help groups are facing acute financial crunch due to COVID-19 lockdown as a result of which they cannot pay the loans availed from different financial institutions to restart their business activities.
The Women have therefore urged the State government to wave off their loans.
