The Inspection and Monitoring committee constituted under PC-PNDT Act discussed minutes of their last inspection that initiated inspections and scrutinized registrations of genetic counseling centres, genetic laboratories and genetic clinics.
Good Shepherd Health Care clinic and Aadhar Hospital produced the required relevant documents for ultrasound at the time of inspection and therefore the committee approved the PNDT registration to both.
The committee accepted the replacement of the equipment of the Health Ways hospital and Dr Tilve’s Clinics for being endorse the details of USG machines and issue fresh PNDT registration.
They also granted fresh certificate to Dr Ameet Naik as per the inspection carried out towards the shifting to a new place and purchase of new USG machine and granted approval to newly recruited Dr Nikhil Sontakke by Dr Walke’s Diagnostic Centre.
Chairperson Dr Shirley Rebeiro presided over the meeting that was attended by additional collector Swapnil Naik. Gaurish Dhond (Red Cross), Neeta Marathe representative, Legal Services APP, Neena Naik member (NGO), Carmo L Dias representative of department of Information and Publicity and Aires Fernandes, technical officer at the collectorate office also attended the meeting.
