Medical insurance enrolment centre opened in Pernem

PERNEM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Thursday said the government has launched more than 50 schemes for the benefit of the people since coming to power in 2012.

PERNEM: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar on Thursday said the government has launched more than 50 schemes for the benefit of the people since coming to power in 2012.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the first centre of the Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana Kendra at the Primary Health Center in Tuem, Pernem.
“Development has reached beyond cities in BJP rule. Under this scheme people have to only do the registration and the insurance instalment of Rs 3206 will be paid by the government,” Parsekar said.
The function was attended by Panchayat minister and local MLA Rajendra Arlekar and Deputy CM Francis D’Souza.
This is the first of the 17 centers to be launched all over Goa, where enrolment forms will be available. The programme was organised by Directorate of Health Sevices, United India Insurance Company and Goa Electronics Limited.
