Meet to felicitate first Cong govt

Sattari Yuva Morcha has convened a public meeting  at Sanquelim on Sunday 24th January to felicitate Speaker Pratapsing Rane and his cabinet colleagues of the first Congress government he headed from 1979-84.
According to the organizers, Rane will be felicitated along with Harish Zantye, Shaikh Hassan Haroon, Dayanand Narvekar, Francisco Sardinha and Joildo Aguiar.
Interestingly, the meeting is being organized by Sattari Yuva Morcha in association with Congress Party and MGP.  Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, Education Minister Babush Monserrate, MP Shantaram Naik are also scheduled to be present. Sources said the meeting is being organsied to galvanise support in view of the forthcoming parliamentary election.
