BICHOLIM: A special meeting has been convened on Tuesday, as per the directives of the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to review the situation in Sanquelim following the rise in COVID cases to 25.
It is pertinent to note that there is a sudden rise in coronavirus cases in Sanquelim with the town detecting 25 cases. One COVID positive case has been detected in Harvalem and four cases in Sal taking the number of active cases in the taluka to 30.
In view of this situation, the Chief Minister has called for a special review meeting on Tuesday at Ravindra Bhavan, Sanquelim at 9.15 am. The meeting will be chaired by the CM. SMC councillors, Bicholim mamlatdar, Pravinjay Pandit; Health Officers of the Sanquelim CHC and the Bicholim PI will attend.
