Mega musical event in honour of Ulhas Buyao at Margao today

A musical treat awaits Goans and more particularly Konkani music lovers when Buyao Theatres Goem holds its mega musical extravaganza at the Pai Tiatrist Auditorium, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao on October 28 at 6 pm.
As a tribute to the founder of Buyao Theatres, Ulhas Buyao, nearly half an hour of the programme will be dedicated to him with his son Sidhanath Buyao singing some of Buyao’s evergreen songs including Channeache Rati, Mungllurachea Xarant, etc.
The show will also have popular artistes from the Konkani stage, including Anthony San with equally charming daughter Clarissa, Nephie Rod who is a much in demand playback singer, Lawry Travasso the prolific writer and talented singer who has won awards galore, the entertaining Xavier Gomes, Francis de Tuem whose songs never fail to impress, Peter and Roshan who not only entertain but also give a message.
Interestingly talented singers like Marcus Vaz, Steffi, Willy and Master Benzer will be making their appearances for this show thereby adding more value to it and making it a ‘must be present’ event.
Besides, Prince Jacob, Comedy Supremo Humbert, Sally, Brian and Ben will keep the audience in splits as they will be enacting comic skits that are bound to keep the laughter rolling going by their reputation.
Buyao Theatres, Goem will also be releasing its 13th album titled Buyao Rocks Konkani which is fusion of peppy western beats including rock with Indian rhythm and whose promos have become a hit not only on the local news channels but also on the internet through U-Tube.
The Songs to this album are penned by noted lyricists Shridhar Kamat & John Aguiar and Late Goem Shahir Ulhas Buyao.
