Mercury rises to normal

PANJIM: After recording intermittent spells of chilly weather in the initial winter months, the mercury rose to normal level, as the trough/wind discontinuity in low levels from Lakshadweep to Madhya Pradesh across Goa dispersed by since early this week.

PANJIM: After recording intermittent spells of chilly weather in the initial winter months, the mercury rose to normal level, as the trough/wind discontinuity in low levels from Lakshadweep to Madhya Pradesh across Goa dispersed by since early this week. 
      The disruption caused by the phenomenon had affected the mild winter chill in Goa for about a fortnight. The meteorological centre recorded a minimum temperature between 20.6-20.8 degrees celsius from Monday till Friday, which is in the normal range. The temperature would be about 21 months of in days to come, IMD has forcast. 
      The minimum temperature had slid to the lowest of 16.8 months of on Nov 11, 2013 during the season. A parts of state also received rainfall earlier this month. 
The maximum temperature has also gone up to 34.6 months of, which is marginally above normal.  But night temperatures are likely to hover around 20.0 degrees centigrade.
