PONDA: The Ponda Bus Drivers and Conductors association on Wednesday met Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader Dr Ketan Bhatikar and discussed their problems. Bhatikar demanded that government should provide financial aid to those conductors and drivers who are without badges

Later addressing to media Ketan said “Government is likely to pay compensation to pandemic affected bus drivers and conductors with those having badges. However it was noted that though most of the drivers have badges there are many conductors who do not have badges and are likely to be deprived from financial aid”.

He said that there are more than 100 bus conductors in Ponda and out these around 75 conductors do not have badges.
