BICHOLIM/PERNEM: The Maharastrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) on Friday submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Collector demanding streamlining of online education in the State.

The MGP in a memorandum highlighted the absence of physical classrooms and proper digital infrastructure is causing inconvenience to both the teachers and students especially in the remote areas, where learning is disparity due to access of electricity and internet connections to devices like computers or smart phones.

The MGP highlighted access to electricity is crucial for digital education, both for powering devices as well as for connecting to internet but we have witnessed frequent power shutdowns not only in the villages but also in city and town areas which has hampered the online education system.
