PONDA: The no confidence motion against PMC Deputy Chairperson Ameena Naik on Wednesday was passed by 8 against 4 votes by show on hands. Three councilors remain absent. The motion against was brought by BJP backed 8 councilors on Wednesday.
MGP backed deputy Chairperson was elected on 25 September; however within ten days no confidence motion was brought against her by BJP backed 8 councilors. With this MGP lost Deputy Chairperson Post in PMC.
