PONDA: Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party on Tuesday disclosed that the party would contest four seats of Ponda, Marcaim, Shiroda and Priol in the event of forming alliance with any party for the upcoming Assembly elections.
Former PWD minister Sudin Dhavalikar said, “MGP would not form alliance with any party having ‘ayaram, gayaram’ politicians.”
“The political pundits say that the MGP would go it alone in the next hustings. The party has already declared that they will contest 18 seats. Besides, the four above mentioned seats, MGP will also contest Pernem, Mandrem, Dabolim, Savordem, Bicholim and Mayem,” Dhavalikar said.
