MGP-TMC is eyeing third party alliance, says Dhavalikar

PONDA: Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader Sudin Dhavalikar on Wednesday announced that MGP and Trinamool Congress (TMC)  working on  forming  alliance with some more parties and urged the voters to support their alliance and bring parivartan  in 2022 Assembly Election. He said presently discussions are on with some political parties.

Dhavalikar also claimed that alliance parties would definitely form next government by setting aside Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

He said MGP so far has declared its important candidates but considering new political equations and alliance there will be adjustment in seat sharing process.

Dhavalikar also expressed concern over rising COVID cases and said that Election Commission must ensure safe elections by restricting crowds and limited meetings. He also said that arrogant election officials should be shunted.

He mocked BJP for finding candidates from other political parties. He said they claim 4.5 lakh membership but no candidates to contest election, which shows BJP leadership failed. He said first they robbed MLAs and now candidates selected by MGP and other parties. Fed up with this, BJP workers are joining MGP. He also asked Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant to declare the new project brought by him in past two years of tenure. He said MGP is yet to finalise Shiroda candidate. Though they are considering Sanket Mule to contest election, the candidate will be finalized after survey report.
