Mhambre quits as AAP State convenor

PANJIM: Few hours after his appointment as the national spokesman, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre quit from all the posts. 

Mhambre resigned as State convenor, member of party’s national executive and as national spokesman. 

He said that he resigned due to personal reasons and thanked AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and national secretary Pankaj Gupta for entrusting him with the additional responsibility of national spokesman. 

Mhambre wished all the selfless volunteers and supporters of AAP for standing with him through the journey and added that he will always be there for Goa and Goenkars.

When contacted, Mhambre told Herald that he resigned from the party due to personal reasons. He was appointed as AAP interim State convenor two years ago. 

He was not clear whether he would continue in the AAP and said that it’s time to think different.
