Unlike the first time, doctors admitted him in the CCU Ward No 143.
Sources said Pacheco had complained of chest pain after which the Sada jail officials summoned the Vasco escort personnel to rush him to GMC.
He reached GMC at about 7.30 pm and was admitted a half an hour later after a check-up.
Though his condition is stable, doctors have kept him under observation. “He (Pacheco) is admitted in the general ward. He is one amongst the other patients in the ward. He has not been given any special treatment,” an attending nurse said.
Pacheco’s wife Viola was seen visiting him at about 9 pm.
On June 2, Pacheco was first brought to the hospital on complaints of blood pressure. The doctors had refused to admit him as it was not required.
