Mickky justifies support to BJP

It was a week when Goa Vikas Party’s flamboyant supremo Mickkybab trained his guns at the religious people for their role in the April 12 Lok Sabha poll. He seems to have neither forgotten nor forgiven the religious leaders for hounding him for his decision to support the saffron brigade in the election. Mickkybab recalled at a function at Majorda earlier this week how the religious people bayed for his blood when he decided to mobilise support for the BJP. He told the people around in the presence of MP Narendrabhai that the same religious leaders have now had no hesitation in calling on Modibhai during his visit to the State. And, he wondered why Catholics like him, who had supported the BJP, had to face the brunt from the religious leaders and their hierarchy, when they had no qualms in meeting the Prime Minister. Well, sources in the know said the flamboyant GVP supremo has not stopped calling all and sundry since the PM’s visit to the State. The reason is not far too seek. He is believed to have saved a photograph of the meeting the religious leader had with Modibhai on his whatsapp and is busy sending the same to his friends and admirers. What a way to prove a point that he was not wrong in supporting the saffronites in the election.
