MARGAO: Judicial Magistrate First Class Sahir Shirazali Issani on Friday posted the hearing of the case against former minister Mickky Pacheco and two others, in the beach driving case, which then made waves in social media, on November 13.
The judge directed the investigating officer to be present for the next hearing as the video footage of the incident has to be identified and given to the accused namely Mickky, Robino Fernandes and Sebastiao Vas.
The case was filed following a complaint lodged by Fanny D’Silva on March 11, 2018. The three accused abused her son Melroy with filthy language and also threatened him. She also complained that Mickky drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and nearly knocked down her son.
While Assistant Public Prosecutor U Avde represented the State the accused were represented by Adv Byron Coutinho.
