JMFC Pooja Kavlekar reserved her orders to Thursday after hearing arguments advanced by Adv Rodrigues and Assistant Public Prosecutor Shilpa Nagvekar who gave her written opinion to the Court that the warrant of arrest may be issued against Mickky.
The application filed by Rodrigues came up before the Judge Kavlekar at 12.30 pm, but the proceedings were adjourned till 4 pm when the Judge asked the APP to confirm the Supreme Court order dismissing Mickky’s Special Leave Application and get back to the court in the evening session.
When the matter was heard at 4 pm, APP Shilpa Nagvekar said she has confirmed the Apex Court website but hastened to add that she could not get an authenticated copy of the order.
Adv Rodrigues drew the Court’s attention that Mickky, who is a very influential MLA and until last week the Rural Development Minster, with the tacit support of the authorities was mischievously trying to evade and circumvent from adhering to the HC order.
