MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge I Edgar Fernandes has dismissed the revision application filed by Mathew Diniz against the trial court order of framing charges against him and his friend Mickey Pacheco in the infamous gambling case of May 2009.
It may be recalled that in June this year the trial court framed charges against Mickky and Mathew for threatening and abusing the staff of a casino at Majorda. Mickky and Mathew filed a revision application against the order.
However, Judge Edgar found no fault in the trial court order and said the matter would come up before the trial court on November 16, 2018.
It would be pertinent to point out that Mickey Pacheco initially stated that he would appeal against the trial court order framing charges but later on said he would depend upon the appeal filed by his friend Mathew.
