VASCO: A middle-aged person, resident of Mestawada, Vasco, reportedly hanged himself at his residence on Friday early morning, with the help of a saree. As per the information provided by the Vasco Police, the deceased indentified as Somnath Manohar Chari, (56), was a resident of Mestawada-Vasco, and was running a fabrication workshop.
The police said that the deceased was reportedly facing financial constraints as there was no much fabrication works/contracts for him. On Friday early morning, the deceased’s wife noticed her husband was hanging from the ceiling with a saree.
Later, police rushed at the spot and conducted panchanama and the body was sent for the post mortem, in which no foul play was detected.
