VASCO: A MiG-29K fighter aircraft of Indian Navy with lone pilot had a rough landing at Dabolim airport on Wednesday. The fighter aircraft while landing had two rear tyres burst. There was no damage to the aircraft.
Confirming the information, the Flag Officer Goa Naval Area (FOGA) Rear Admiral Puneet K Bahl said, “It was a normal emergency that was reported but nothing to worry about it. The pilot is safe. Infact we have to live with such emergencies because in every aircraft it’s not that you will not have, any time, no emergencies. Such emergencies keep occurring at various level.”
