Migrant held for possessing charas

The anti narcotics sleuths seized Charas worth Rs 70,000 and arrested a migrant for his alleged involvement in drug peddling.
Officials informed that the alleged accused identified as Om Prakash (full name not known) was caught while supplying Charas to a decoy customer near a shack at Arambol, Pernem.
Acting on a tip-off, the team carried out the raid at about 2am on Thursday and nabbed him red-handed while supplying the packet of drugs to the decoy customer.
The 26-year-old youth from Madhya Pradesh reportedly came down to Goa one-year back to start an independent business here.
He resided at a rented room at Arambol even though it was not disclosed whether he was employed anywhere.
