VASCO: Reacting sharply to the statement made by the South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha in holding Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Urban Development Minister Milind Naik responsible for the COVID crisis, Naik questioned where Sadinha was all this time during the Corona pandemic.
Naik, the Mormugao MLA continued, “Has he got up now? Why has he not made any public appearance or given any public statement for so long on COVID?”
“Does Sardinha knows the meaning of the word ‘Pandemic’ and is he aware that COVID cases and deaths are happening all over the world and even in the USA? Then how can he blame me for the COVID deaths in Mormugao? It is easy to shoot any statements before TV. If he was aware of what’s a pandemic, he should have refrained from blaming anybody for this pandemic which is affecting people worldwide. I feel instead of giving such a statement, Sardinha should think of coming up with a vaccine for coronavirus, so that at least this could help people,” Naik added.
