VASCO: Minister of Transport, Panchayats Mauvin Godinho inspected the entire stretch of the proposed doubling of railway track in Dabolim area.
Touring the stretch along with Deputy General Manager of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Banerjee, Section Engineer Navin Paul, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Bridge Expert Sathees Kumar, Sarpanch and ward members of the concerned panchayats, Godinho gave necessary instructions to railway officials and directed them to carry out the crucial and vital work of bridge in Shanti Nagar at New Vaddem.
He reviewed the various areas along the railway track which will come under the double tracking.

He also directed the officials of Electricity Department to take up the work of shifting poles on priority, so that power supply to the people of his constituency does not get affected.
Godinho also inspected and directed the Railway Officials to carry out road works in different locations along the railway track line.
People of the vicinity thanked the minister for personally monitoring and visiting their areas and extended their wholehearted support to the double tracking of the railway track.
