VASCO: A unique mini Narkasur competition for Vasco children was organised by former MMC chairperson Deepak Naik in the port town.
Next year, the organisers plan to hold an all Goa Mini Narkasur competition depending on the response.
Speaking to media persons, Naik, the organiser, who is also the Vasco BJP mandal president said he feels great in organising such a unique event in the port town.
He said, “It’s been observed that many school children are enthusiastic in making mini Narkasur effigies and exhibit them alongside the massive ones”.
“This year, I felt that this talent among the children should be encouraged. Hence, this competition was organised to encourage them. I promise to continue this mini Narkasur competition in future,” Naik assured.
