Mini Ravindra Bhavan at Carmona: Alemao

PWD Minister Churchill Alemao has vowed to build a mini Ravindra Bhavan in the village of Carmona to benefit the inhabitants residing in the coastal villages of Cavelossim, Carmona, Orlim and Varca.
Alemao made the announcement after laying the foundation stone for the Panchayat ghar of the Carmona village Panchayat on Sunday morning.
Soliciting support from the villagers to build hall cum mini Ravindra Bhavan in Carmona, the PWD Minister said people from the coastal belt are forced to either go to Margao and other places for want of a spacious and modern hall along the belt. “The land required for the purpose will be acquired by the government. I only want your support and cooperation to make the Ravindra Bhavan a reality”, he said.
Asserting that he has ushered in all round development of the Navelim constituency in his three years stint at MLA, Alemao offered to develop and upgrade the Carmona cemetery with additional graves. He also offered to develop the Parochial house of Carmona Church with the permission of the Church authorities.
Reminding the people about the election promises made by him to build the three bridges across River Sal, Alemao said work on the bridges is going on in full swing and would become a reality soon.
Making an appeal to the people not to put spokes in the development on political considerations, Alemao said the bridges once completed would usher in development and would help the future generations.
