NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court’s three-judge Forest Bench could not take up the Goa mining case on Wednesday as it was tied up with the inconclusive day-long hearing on the Orissa matter that may consume even the next two days of hearing.
All the same, the Goa case remains on board in Thursday’s cause list, though not expected to be taken up, as listed above it, is the Karnataka mining case that will be taken up after completing the Orissa hearing.
Since the Bench is now trying to complete the cases one by one for disposal, it may take another few days before the Goa case finally comes up for hearing.
