PONDA: Goa Mining Peoples Front (GMPF) leader Puti Gaonkar on Friday said the mining dependents will meet Union Minister Suresh Prabhu and BJP President Amith Shah in Delhi on January 13.
He confirmed that Suresh Prabhu and Amith Shah are in contact with him and invited him to Delhi. He said the meeting is called to discuss and find a solution for the Goa mining issue.
He said that GMPF has been agitating since past eight month for immediate start of mining in Goa and this would be the main point of discussion.
He said mining dependents would also demand an appointment and meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the immediate resumption of mining in Goa.
