MARGAO: “No one can decide what we have to do with our money and resources,” said Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco while commenting on the mining lease closure issue and the delegation meeting the Central leaders on Thursday.
Speaking to the media on the issue, the Curtorim Congress MLA said, “The resources of our State in form of mining have to be used by the Goans and for the betterment of Goans alone.”
Reginaldo yet again repeated and asked where are the Rs 35,000 crore and why there is no recovery and action against the accused.
When pointed out that his party differed with him on this issue, he shot back saying, “Have I said something wrong by saying recovery has to happen and mining should be for Goa and Goans?”
“I will speak what is right and the (Congress) party has to speak what is right,” Reginaldo added.
Commenting on some of his party leaders, Reginaldo said, “There are some leaders who don’t know what people want and what they have to speak when it comes to these issues.”
