VASCO: A minor boy has been detained for reportedly molesting a minor girl and trespassing into her house, on Wednesday.
Vasco police said that when the minor girl was sleeping next to her mother, an unknown person trespassed into the house and allegedly pulled the blanket covering her body and allegedly molested the girl. The minor girl immediately raised an alarm forcing the accused flee from the spot.
During investigation, the police learnt that a minor boy committed the offence. Police took the boy into their custody and sent him to the Protective Home at Merces.
“An offence has been registered against the minor boy under Goa Children’s Act and POCSO Act,” police said.
