Minor Girl Allegedly Raped by Cop in Rajasthan

In a distressing incident, a police sub-inspector identified as Bhupendra Singh, who was on election duty, has been accused of raping a minor girl, believed to be around four to five years old in Dausa district, Rajasthan. The alleged incident took place in the Lalsot area on Friday afternoon when Singh reportedly lured the child into his room.

Following the filing of a complaint by a nearby family, a case has been registered against the sub-inspector at the Rahuwas police station. Assistant Superintendent of Police Bajrang Singh confirmed the arrest of the accused and stated that a thorough investigation is underway. A medical examination of the minor victim is also being conducted.

The news of the heinous crime provoked a strong reaction from the local community, with villagers converging outside the Rahuwas police station in significant numbers. Expressing their anger, the crowd shouted slogans against the police and took matters into their own hands by physically assaulting Bhupendra Singh. The accused sub-inspector was then handed over to the police.
