PANJIM: The Panjim Police have registered a case against an unidentified person for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from Dhanalaxmi Nagar in the city.
According to the police, one Surendra Singh Rana (44), a native of Uttarakhand, lodged a complaint stating that an unidentified person kidnapped his minor daughter from his lawful guardianship.
The incident occurred on June 18. An offence has been registered under section 363 of IPC and section 8 of Goa Children’s Act. PSI Viraj Naik is investigating the case under the guidance of Panjim PI Vijaykumar Chodankar.
