MARGAO: A minor boy was detained by the Colva Police for stabbing a senior citizen while attempting to burgle his house.
The 17-year-old attempted to rob the house in the fourth Ward of Colva but failed. While attempting to flee, he stabbed the owner of the house, Valerian Vaz.
Valerian was stabbed on his back with a knife. However, the boy was caught and handed over to the police. The wife of Valerian has filed a police complaint and the minor boy has been sent to Apna Ghar. The police have sought an ossification test to ascertain the age of the accused.
