Miracles School headmaster drama ends with a twist

Students return to class after it was announced that Fr Myron Sequeira would handle the reins of the school till a new headmaster was appointed

SANGUEM: After two days of agitation, the issue of posting of Headmaster at Miracles High School Sanguem stands solved at least for the time being.
As the parents and students are against the return of Fr Pio Furtado as the school headmaster, the school management handed over the charge of the school to Fr Myron Sequeira, attached to Our Lady of Miracles Church, Sanguem.
The announcement of Fr Sequeira to head the school charge in the absence of full-time headmaster was made by the Chairman of Pilar Society Fr Anthony Silva, in the presence of Fr Anthony Fernandes, whom the students and parents wanted to be reinstated as the school headmaster.
There was jubilation among students when the announcement was made and after being informed that Fr Sequeira would run the school till a full-time headmaster was appointed.
Subsequently, the classes functioned as normal.
Ironically, students and parents seem to have forgotten the pains Fr Furtado took to improve the school for the past five years and also the excellent results when he was the school headmaster.
