Miraculous escape for bikers at Tilamol

Two motorcyclists had a miraculous escape from being crushed under a speeding mining truck, which overturned on its side at Tilamol-Quepem on Thursday afternoon.
According to sources, the two motorcyclists, who had a lucky escape from getting crushed under the truck, ran to rescue the truck driver. However, to their surprise, they found the truck driver in an intoxicated condition.
While the villagers were busy regulating the traffic on the road, the truck driver managed to escape from the accident site.
After learning that the truck driver was driving the vehicle in intoxicated condition, the villagers gathered at the site and stopped mining trucks as a matter of safety and concern to the public.
When the police arrived at the site, the villagers demanded that the driver be brought to the site and alcohol test be conducted in their presence and only then they would release the trucks.
Some villagers claimed that when police arrived at the site, the truck driver was at the site and some of them had even requested the police to check his driving license, but their request was not taken seriously, which helped the truck driver to flee.
