Miramar Residency to be used as COVID centre

PANJIM: The office of the North Collector and Chairman of the North Goa District Disaster Management Authority has requisitioned five cottages of Miramar Residency.

A notice in this regard was issued to Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) that manages the property, which has a total of 20 rooms. The Deputy Collector of Tiswadi was asked to take over the possession of Miramar Residency with immediate effect and it’s likely to be used as a COVID Centre. 

It may be recalled that GTDC residencies were used as COVID Centres last year.
