Two separate incidents of fire were reported on Tuesday morning, one at Corjuem, Aldona and the second at Cuncolim. At Aldona, a car, a bike and two bicycles were gutted in a fire at Corjuem, Aldona on Tuesday morning. Locals suspect that some miscreants may have set fire to the vehicles as they were parked on the owner’s property. The police arrived on site and further investigation is on. While at Cuncolim, the kitchen and store room of a restaurant were completely gutted in a fire. The total loss is estimated at Rs 80 thousand.
