CURCHOREM: Curchorem police and Curchorem fire personnel continued their search operations on Monday to trace Shanti Patel from Mirabhag who was reported missing from her house since Sunday.
According to PI Shivram Vaingankar, Shanti had withdrawn Rs 5000 from her account on Saturday. Despite launching the search and rescue operations in the Zuari River at Mirabhag, Shanti could not be traced. Police are now investigating the case in other angles.
It may be recalled that her minor son saw her leaving the house at 6 am. When he reached the Mirabhag Bridge, he saw his mother’s mobile and sandals on the bridge barrier. He informed his father Dhiraj Patel who filed a police complaint.
