CANACONA: A Navi Mumbai resident missing from his residence since last Monday was traced at Canacona on the basis of withdrawal of cash from an ATM from the taluka.
Bapu Krishna Boni, a 32-year-old resident of Navi Mumbai, was reported missing by his family to the police station at Navi Mumbai. On the basis of the cash withdrawal done by Bapu, the police succeeded in tracing him to Canacona taluka. On knowing that the missing person is in Canacona taluka they contacted their counterparts in Canacona who traced him at world famous beach of Palolem.
Sources at Canacona police station said that he was handed over to his relatives who had come to Canacona after Navi Mumbai police told them that he is in Canacona.
