Veda and her three-year-old daughter, Navinya, had gone missing on October 2, after which her family had filed a complaint with the Panjim police station. It is learnt that Veda left her husband’s house in Dona Paula allegedly due to harassment from in-laws.
In Mysore, a rickshaw driver saw her crying at the bus stand and informed the local police, who immediately called Goa counterparts after an inquiry.
The mother and her daughter were brought to Goa thereafter. The police will record their statement on Thursday.
