MARGAO: Margao MLA and Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat on Monday inspected the site proposed for new road over-bridge at Ravanfond.
The MLA informed the consultants that suggestions and changes may be required while conceiving the bridge plan.
Kamat inspected the site ahead of the visit of Mumbai-based consultant appointed by the GSIDC to execute the bridge plan.
“The parallel over bridge has been planned along the Ravanfond road stretch. The GSIDC will build the bridge first and later the existing bridge will be removed. Another bridge will be built making it a 6-lane one for handling the entire traffic,” Kamat added.
