PANJIM: As Opposition MLAs held an emergency meeting to discuss the deteriorating COVID-19 situation in the State, Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte sent a letter to Governor B S Koshyari seeking his direct intervention to alleviate the worsening scenario by issuing Gubernatorial Orders towards a total lockdown in the State for 10 days.
“I humbly submit a plea to Your Excellency for a direct intervention to alleviate the worsening COVID scenario in the State by issuing Gubernatorial Orders towards a total lockdown in the State for 10 days and also make COVID negative certification compulsory for entering Goa,” Khaunte pleaded in the letter.
