MARGAO: Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has requested the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) to pay heed to the gram sabha resolution of Curtorim Panchayat which has demanded to “scrap” the new draft CZMP sent to it and adopt the draft plan prepared by the local body which was submitted in 2019.
Reginaldo has demanded the rescheduling of the public hearings by holding them after the draft CZMPs prepared by the people and panchayats are notified for Goan villages.
“I fully support Curtorim Panchayat’s aforesaid gram sabha’s objection to the public hearings on March 7, 2021 for the draft finalisation of Coastal Zone Management Plan as per Notification 2011. The glaring errors in the CZMP 2021 for the Curtorim village must be rectified without any further delay,” he demanded.
