PONDA: MGP leader and Marcaim MLA Sudin Dhavalikar on Thursday urged the State government to provide financial assistance to a cyclone injured patient Jayram Venktesh Naik (42) battling for life in ICU at Goa Medical College and Hospital.
Dhavalikar said he that coming from poor financial his family is struggling to meet treatment expenses. “The locals have provided some help to the family but now need the government support. The family has no money to travel to GMC and back, and to buy medicines,” he added.
Dhavalikar said Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has been asked for immediate help of Rs one lakh.
